Our speaker was Dr. Geoff Bird , professor at Royal Roads and producer of Two Documentary Films: “Trees of Remembrance” and “War Memorials and Their Makers: Messengers of Meaning” 

Geoff is the Project Lead of the War Heritage Research Initiative that has involved the production of over 30 short documentaries including Abkhazi Garden: Sanctuary from War and

various commemorative projects.
