The Oak Bay Heritage Foundation is a non-profit society established in 1992 and is incorporated under the Societies Act of BC. It promotes the preservation, maintenance and restoration of structures, sites and land of heritage value in the Municipality of Oak Bay. It also promotes education and awareness of heritage conservation in the District through public programs and activities.
What does the Foundation do?
- Presents Spring and Fall heritage lectures at the Windsor Pavilion. Information, including topics presented at past lectures. OBHF Heritage Lecture Series
- Provides cost-sharing grants to owners of registered and designated properties situated in Oak Bay, to assist with their preservation, maintenance or restoration. - Nominates for the annual Hallmark Heritage Society Awards
